The January 2000 production of A LITTLE MURDER NEVER HURT ANYBODY was received "with much delight and many laughs" which "started with the Play Reading Committee, spread to the auditioneers and then to the cast and, finally, to about a thousand people on the four nights of production.  People went out of their way after each show to tell me that it was a 'great show'."

"This is the best attended play ever.  Some people came back twice because they laughed so hard they missed other funny lines."
--- Westside Players, ID, Oct. 1999 production

May 1999 production: "A LITTLE MURDER . . . is one of those shows where the audience can sit back, relax and forget all their troubles for two glorious hours . . ." -- Bud Wahl, Director, Community Players of Streator (Streator, IL)

Oakville -- Ronald Jay's "A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody" is about one man's efforts to murder his wife before ringing in the next New Year.  It plays like a Neil Simon comedy mixed with heavy doses of farcical elements from Michael Frayn and Ken Ludwig.   . . .

What we have here, in short, is an irresistible two-act comedy that should appeal to anyone looking for a night full of laughs, mayhem and hyperactive madness.  One of the funniest and best comedies to play Clockwork over the past   five years, it is more than just a kooky concoction of vignettes. It actually has some substance to it and says a lot about marriage and relationships without ever going the mockery route.
